While our children are at Bible and Beach we have committed to pray for God to move among our youth as well as the leadership. To give you some way to focus your prayer time, we will be providing scripture affirmations for you to pray. We will also be posting more specific prayer requests and leaders names each day for you to pray for. We are attempting to stay connected with the leadership attending this event with our children to obtain specific requests and feel like sharing that with all of our prayer warriors is a great way for us to support their efforts. Please feel free to share these with your small group or others that would like to join us in prayer during this time. If you have specific questions or comments please feel free to Contact Us via the contact us form or directly by emailing us at info@runningintojesus.com.
Scriptures to Pray
- Proverbs 3:5 & 6 “We thank You Lord, that you are directing the path of my teen and that Your Holy Spirit is helping them to trust in You, to lean upon You for understanding and to inspire them to acknowledge You in all they do and think.”
- Jeremiah 29:11 “We thank You, Lord that You know the plans that You have written for my son or daughter. We praise You that these are prosperous plans, plans without harm and that they are full of a hopeful future.”
- 1 Timothy 4:12 We praise You God, that You are enabling our teens to be good examples for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity and they will not feel looked down upon because they are young, but rather will use all that they possess for your glory right now in their youth.”
- Romans 8:28 “We praise You, Heavenly Father, that You work all things together for the good of our teen because they love You and are called according to Your purpose. We ask that You would impart the sense of that purpose by Your Holy Spirit in the heart of our teen.”
- Psalm 119:9 “We thank You, Holy Spirit that You are bringing about Godly repentance and sorrow in the heart of our teens and that You help them to keep their way pure by living according to Your word. We ask that You will convict and then restore; You will write Your laws upon their heart.”
- Romans 8:31 “We praise You God, that because You are for my teen, no one can be against them. Give them that sense of Your protection and affirmation. Build them up in Your spirit and surround them with Your favor as with a shield.”
- 1 Peter 4:3 “We thank You God, that You are helping our teen to see that the partying lifestyle leads to addictions and that it is a God-ignorant life. Please Father, call them through Your spirit to a life of total surrender to You. Free them from any besetting patterns of behavior and sin that are dragging them off Your path. “
- Psalm 119:105 “Thank You Lord that Your word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path and that You are drawing my teen into a deeper desire for Your word. Help them to start to pant after it and to pursue it.”
- Joshua 1:7-9 “Thank You Lord, that with Your power, my teen can be strong and very courageous. Help them to obey all Your laws out of a reverent love and devotion for You. Help them not to adhere to man made rules but rather to submit themselves to You because their hearts are in love with You. Help them to then be prosperous and successful just as You have promised. Help them not to be discouraged but rather to know that You are with them wherever they go.”
- Matthew 26:41 “We thank You Lord, that as my teen begins to learn to pray, that You will keep watch over their heart. Thank You that You will enable them not to fall into temptation. Where there has been a wrong path followed, we ask that You draw them back to Your path and Your ways. Help them to hide Your word in their heart that they will not sin against You.”
- 1 Corinthians 10:13 “Thank You that You are providing a way out of temptation for my teen so that even when they are tempted, You are faithful to stand strong and resist it. Please draw my teen to this way of living.”
- Psalm 40:1-3 “Thank You Lord that even now You are hearing my cry for my child; You are lifting them out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire that is weighing them down. Thank You that through Your Spirit, You are setting their feet on a rock and giving them a firm place to stand. I praise You that You are putting a new song in their mouth, a hymn of praise to You, Our God. Lord, let many see and fear You because of all that You have done for my teen and then through that story, others will put their trust in You, the Lord.”
- Isaiah 44:1-5 “Thank You Lord, that it is You who has made my teen. You formed them in the womb and You promise to help them. Thank You Lord that they have nothing to fear because You provide all things for them. You are even now, pouring Your blessing upon my offspring and helping them to spring up like grass in the meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams. You are helping them to declare that they “Belong to the Lord” and even write upon their hand, “The Lord’s”. Oh Father, by the blood of Jesus Christ we claim their salvation and we acknowledge that You are the one that calls them to this life of surrender to You and Your plans.”
