Resident Runners
Running into Jesus began out of a need to find HIM in all situations and circumstances and to run, not walk, in to HIS faithful arms of mercy and grace. Our founder is Vicki Feinn and you can read her story about how this all came about HERE.
Vicki Feinn
Vicki Feinn was raised in a Christian home and accepted Jesus as her savior at the age of five. At the age of eleven she gave herself to the Lord to be used in any way He wanted to use her. Vicki married her husband, Benjamin in 1983 and they have six children. Their son, Joshua “died” in his car seat at the age of one month and Vicki had to resuscitate him; after which he spent nearly a month in the pediatric intensive care unit. This event forced Vicki to get rid of her “recipe” of what God acts like if she tried to be her “best”. Her faith and prayer life have grown tremendously and have carried her through many other trials. She now ministers to women through leading Bible studies and a prayer group called “The Gap Sisters”. She is active in the home education community and often gives seminars relating to parenting, home education and faith in the Lord. Four of her six children are entrepreneurs and she also mentors other parents who would like to foster these skills in their children as well. Vicki has been homeschooling for sixteen years and her two oldest children are now in college. The stories she shares in her presentations are from personal experience and portray a vulnerability and transparency that helps the listener want to be real with the Lord Jesus. She often says, “Life doesn’t get any better than this.” Her love of Jesus and her family inspire those around her to run with endurance their own race of faith.
Denise Witt
Denise Witt became a Christian at the age of 10 and like Vicki was raised in a Christian home with three siblings, one brother and two sisters. When she was thirty two years of age her husband of fourteen years disappeared in the middle of the night leaving her and her four children to run off with an eighteen year old. She met her current husband of twenty years shortly after her divorce and they had two more children. When her first husband died a few years after they married, her husband Kevin stepped up to the father role for the four older children and now they are blessed with twelve wonderful grandchildren. It hasn’t always been easy, in fact this marriage came close to divorce when they were faced with more baggage than either of them could carry. God’s grace and mercy carried them through and restored their broken relationship. They both have a heart for families that are suffering hardships in their relationships and have facilitated groups that focus on restoration in marriages. Many trials have led this weary runner to fall at the foot of the cross and that is what brought her to this ministry. With prayer and adoration focus, Denise has begun to transform her prayer life and live in the fearless confidence that God is able to do abundantly more that we could ever ask or imagine and not only is HE able but HE IS! Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” It is in these words that she presses on knowing that HE has a plan for her and for her family. Running into Jesus is a way of life, a Fret Free way of life and she is passionate about encouraging others to run into HIM.
