Welcome to Running In To Jesus Ministries. This ministry was started in order to follow the anointing and calling I have on my life. This calling is found in Isaiah 61:1-3 which says, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and to set the prisoner free; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that HE might be glorified."
"Now what does that have to do with running?" you may be wondering to yourself. Well here's the thing - my job is to help others RUN in to Jesus...or sometimes my job is to help others run INTO Jesus...and in that process, HE will give them freedom, comfort in their mourning and beauty for ashes. See, Jesus was really the one Isaiah was talking about in this passage. So my calling is just to pour out myself as God leads, encouraging all who will listen and then trusting that Jesus HIMSELF will give the oil of joy to you as you run hard after Him. Remember, He promises in Jeremiah 29:13 "When you seek Me, you find Me when you search for Me with all your heart."
In my website you will notice that I often make references to running. As you can see from my picture, I'm not exactly what you would think of as a typical runner - in fact, I consider myself more of a "plodder" when it comes to actually running. But one thing I love about running is that even I can do it! No matter where you consider yourself in your spiritual condition - walker, runner, triathelete or someone simply wishing they were even in the game, come jog alongside me for a few minutes. I pray you will find a filling of the Holy Spirit for whatever your need as you visit my site.
